Proposal Submission Overview

Research Funding Opportunities

To support its goals, the OERC funds research. While OERC will evaluate all proposals received, the research topics listed on the research priority page are of great interest and will be given priority in funding decisions. Please refer to the suggested proposal outline page when preparing a submission.

Preparing a Proposal

This page is designed to inform you of research funding opportunities provided by the OERC in order to further our interest in advancing the field of knowledge regarding office ergonomics.

We have established a number of research priorities for the next 12-18 months and would like to encourage researchers to submit proposals to address the questions raised in the OERC list of high priority research topics. Proposals should provide the information described on the research proposal essentials page.

The total amount of funding available per year is limited; typical funding levels range between $10,000 and $25,000 per project. However, funding amounts may be decided on a case by case basis.

We are currently accepting proposals that will be funded at the end of 2013.  All proposals must be received by July 31, 2013.

Submitting A Proposal

All proposals should be submitted to director@oerc.org.  Please click on the links in the upper right corner of this page to see the current research priorities and guidance for preparing a proposal.
